Our HUGE (and successful) Influencer Campaign with Runway Scout
We led a six-month campaign involving influencers from right across Australia, including Izi Angus, Mini Elena Rose, Maddy Wright, Rochelle Smith, and Chloe Moore. Yep, HUGE. But it gets even bigger in the results department…
Our campaign saw a total of 267,160,000 impressions on Instagram and Facebook, 37.2k likes, 1.9k comments and 137 tagged photos and videos and product sales increased 81% over the period!
People are picking up what influencers are putting down
If influencers say “jump,” the chances of social media users saying “into what outfit” are high. Most recently, according to Sensis 2020 data, one in four Australians agree that they are likely to trust posts shared by a social influencer or a celebrity.
Other past research has found that 40% of Twitter users say they’ve made a purchase as a direct result of a Tweet from an influencer, with a whopping 60% of viewers on YouTube admitting to being influenced by famous YouTubers on their purchases! If that ain’t trust, we don’t know what is.
Reviews = results
Have you ever watched or read an online review before buying a product? It’s make or break, right?! And what are the chances that you stumbled across an influencer review without even realising…
In fact, a study conducted by Influencer Central shows that 81% of consumers consider product reviews while purchasing a product, which is something that influencers often slip into their sponsored content. They’ll add in a little note about how “comfy and true-to-size that top is,” or how “easy this workout is for beginners.” Since we tend to trust online reviews, it’s always a positive nudge in the direction of a purchase! Bring on those pay-offs!
